These will be used to make a mosaic on a door, so far i have not actually stuck any up. I peeled back a little of the sticker cover sheet and it seems plenty sticky and the sticker covers the entire surface of the plates so it won't have any problem sticking.I have built some sections of the mosaic and also tested with all the different lengths of brand name blocks and the fit it good.

So we have these on the sides of our current lego table and they went right on have have stayed solid after weeks and weeks of use, including some friends making horizontal skyscrapers. Very happy with them!

These look & work exactly as advertised. They work with Lego brand blocks & similar generic blocks.I plan to use these to create a Lego wall or something similar once my kiddo graduates from Duplo size blocks.I like that this pack comes with 10 baseplates & multiple colors.I think for the price, you get a lot compared to if purchasing the brand name versions.Disclaimer: I received this "free" of charge through the Vine program in exchange for my honest opinion & review. However, I am taxed at the end of the year on all items received based on their FMV (Fair Market Value) @ 15%. FYI for those curious.

These baseplates are very similar to the name brand but they have adhesive on the back. That's great for what I needed - we made a "Lego corner" for my kids with plates stuck to the desk and wall so they can build in all directions. These worked how I needed. They would not be good if you wanted normal baseplates - the backing will peel off and you'll wind up with it stuck somewhere you didn't intend. But as long as you want to stick a baseplate pretty permanently to a surface, these are great.

In the world of building block base plates, these are mainly okay. They were very usable with our Lego brand sets; some of the off-brand sets a little less so. But they served our purpose. Best to use when you start your build rather than mounting an already finished project on it. They are a little on the thin side, so be careful relocating it when it has a structure on it. It adhered well to flat surfaces. Just have to remember to clean your surface off with rubbing alcohol first and let dry completely. Have not tried to wall-mount these vertically and build on them, but I don't personally feel they would work well for the purpose. Would probably have to add more adhesive to the back somehow to make sure it was secure. But I didn't take off a star for that.

I got these to make a portable playboard for my son's Lego. Not a table, but something portable that he can build on and move around the house. I was originally going to make a 5x2 board, and I probably still will, but having these in hand has led me to some other ideas such as a two level platform or hollow cube. The baseplates themselves are thinner and more flexible than the name brand. The adhesive is on a 1mm thick sheet of foam. Unfortunately, the foam doesn't run all the way to the edge and is not centered on any of my boards. It tends to be pretty close to two edges and further from the other two. In the worst cases, a whole row of studs is unsupported which will lead to the plate flexing when pieces are added. Bricks that run across plates will cause trouble. Maybe I can fix this with a strip of cardstock or thin matte board.I got black because I think that'll work well with all of the colors and we don't have any black base plates.Bricks connect to it fine, both name brand and off brands. The only real problems are the flexing of the board and the lack of support on the edges.

These baseplates are sturdy, consistent, and have good strong adhesive, giving me every confidence that they will stay put wherever they are stuck. The adhesive has a thin foam pad layer, so this pack is a great choice for surfaces that have a little bit of texture where a thin film tape won't hold well. The fact that there are ten in the pack also makes these an excellent value. All that said, there are aspects that will influence how I use these. The adhesive feels and smells quite strong. Even if it's not permanent, I would at least expect these to be difficult and probably destructive to remove once they're installed. For less permanence, I would look for plates with adhesive pads comparable to Remo One. Also, while the studs and spacing are LEGO-compatible size, I don't find those pieces hold quite so firmly as I would like, and generic unbranded pieces hold better. I don't have many MEGA pieces available to test with these baseplates, but the ones I do have feel like a perfect fit. If I end up using these somewhere they'll be vertical or upside down, I think it might be best to build using a base layer of unbranded pieces and then build with branded pieces on top of those.
