Only comes with brass inserts and side screws. Instructions need to be updated for 1120 case. A nightmare to install.

These frames and gaskets are used to mount a panel such as an electrical panel inside the Pelican case.Short story I removed one star for the difficulty in installing this. These work well and once mounted are solid inside the case. The gasket is spongy and will provide a good seal against moisture or rain getting under the panel. The frame comes with 4x wood type self-tapping screws that you must drive into the side of the box through the pre-drilled holes in the frame. The problem is that this 1120 box is quite small and there is no way to get a screw driver inside the box to drive the screw straight in. A very stubby screw driver might work. I ended up using a small right-angle screw driver tool. But it is hard to put enough pressure at right angles to the side of the box with a super short screw driver. The second thing to understand is that the panel is held on with little threaded brass inserts that need to be pressed into holes in the frame. This is fairly easy to do with slip-joint pliers or a small vice or press. I found that if you drive a screw all the way through the insert before installing it works better. The inserts are split and expand when the screw is inserted to hold them securely in the plastic frame. But if you just drive them in without the screw it is easy to get them tilted and the split is pressed really tightly together by the plastic frame making it hard to insert the screw later. So I drive a short screw into the insert all the way and then press it into the frame. This opens the hole in the frame a little more and allows the screw to be more easily inserted when finally installing the panel. Also, note the instructions say you can use either 4-40 or 6-32 sized screws but this 1120 case only allows 4-40 sized screws. We made our panel with 6-32 sized holes which are now too large for the 4-40 screws we had to use.
