This case is a BEAST. We will use it as a portable medicine cabinet/first aid kit for overland travel. The top has LOTS of small compartments we filled with individual packets of common OTC medications (Advil, Tylenol, Aspirin, Benadryl, alcohol wipes, Dramamine, Neosporin, Pepto Bismol, etc, etc, etc. The bottom of the case holds various gauze pads, splints, ace bandages, medical tape, medications too large to fit in the top section, Hot packs, Cold packs etc, etc, etc.We have a separate quick grab trauma bag that holds CPR, Quick Clot, Rolled Gauze, Tourniquet, etc.Lastly, we have a "Boo Boo" kit with Band-Aids, blister care, Neosporin etc.

When I was a young, newly married man, my wife cut the tip of her finger off while cutting a bagel. It was a real bleeder. We had just bought our first house together, and I didn’t have as much as a band-aid on hand to respond to her need. I will never forget the terrible feeling of being flat-footed and unprepared when a loved one was in need. Needless to say, I got myself some first aid supplies and have been steadily restocking and growing my kit for years.Recently, I bought this case to use as the foundation of my home first aid kit. It lives in my pantry and can serve double-duty when my family and I occasionally travel long distances in my truck. My goal was to create a kit that was large enough to treat everything from bumps and bruises, to serious bleeding, and the common ailments in between. This thing is very sturdy, completely water proof, and is just the right size for my needs. It’s a little heavy, but that’s the price you pay for the best protection of your supplies. The plastic lid insert is a genius addition, with an additional layer that covers the front “page” of pockets. The padded bottom inserts are infinitely customizable to fit every piece of your kit properly. It may be expensive, but first aid supplies are invaluable when you need to use them urgently. If you’re on the fence, I would urge you to spend the money, this is a piece of kit that will serve you and your family for many, many years.

This case. It's durable, sturdy, and an overall beast! Just what you'd expect from Pelican. Whether you're carrying secret documents to your lair or transporting the T-Virus to an undesignated lab, this case will carry the goods safely. It's hefty enough to take the beating of you striking those government do-gooders from stopping your world domination plans! Can this case keep you organized and stylish you bet! Can it float should your journeys take you on a speedboat chase with the Strike team in hot pursuit? You bet! Bullets, well... there is one downside. Coincidentally, I should have taken the antidote to the T-Virus too...
