The Pelican Vault V100 Multi-Purpose Hard Case offers sturdy construction at a reasonable price. It outperforms standard budget pistol cases found at most gun stores while remaining affordable. The solid build, secure buckles, and tough handle make it a reliable option. However, the foam is not perforated, requiring manual cutting for a custom fit. The hinges, while sturdy, could be pried open with a tool, and adding extra holes for a lock or cable would improve security.For the price, this case provides good protection.

Reviews:I transformed this into a custom-made camera case, and it’s fantastic! It provides excellent protection for my camera and is incredibly easy to carry. I no longer have to worry about my camera falling out of my large, cumbersome camera bag, which usually only has two snap closures in the front. This case is versatile and will be useful for a variety of purposes!

Pelican is an excellent product and this is no exception. It is solid, protects well, and quality made. The only critique is that the included foam is not perforated. The instructions say to use an electric knife to carve out slots in the foam after tracing the outline of your item. I don't own an electric knife so I used a sharp utility knife but it left ragged cuts. Other than that, it is a good product.

Excellent value for dollar. Blows the regular budget-priced pistol cases found at most gun stores out of the water for very little additional cost.Case and fasteners are rock solid, foam is dense and not cheap pick-and-pluck.

If you were traveling and you need to work something out, this is a great box to do so. I highly recommend it, easy to carve the foam so you can insert whatever precious items you have such as camera gear, etc. Very sturdy and durable and allows you to put two locks on it.

Nice case for my Glock 23. Has enough room for my 9mm conversion barrel and 4 mags.Simplest way to cut the foam is to just lay your weapon, magazines, etc. on top and outline using a razer or really sharp knife.You'll need locks that have 2inch shackles to fit properly.

A great value. Very smart box for securing and transporting by vehicle or plane. The only negative to me is the hinges. Even though they’re sturdy, you could pry them open with a tool. Maybe if there were two more holes in the back that you could put a lock or a cable through then you’d have a seriously secure box. But for the price you can’t beat this. Solid construction. Great buckles. Tough handle. Nice foam inserts. Even though its rated for one gun I keep two guns (M&P9, Hellcat) and four mags in it and cable lock it on the back of my dirt bike or to the seat frame in my car

Na verdade a insatisfação não é com o produto, que é bem acabado e seguro. É pelo fato de não ter ficado claro para mim as dimensões. O produto é muito menor do que eu precisava.

Cutting out the foam was the hardest part. Just go slowly and use a sharp blade and even that is not too hard.If I had to look for something to complain about, it would be that it really should have (IMHO) built-in locks, or come with some. There should at the very least be a recommendation on some decent locks (i.e. not Masterlock) to use with it. After lots of web browsing I ordered a set of three ABUS 64TI/40 Titalium Aluminum Alloy Padlocks. They seem to have a good reputation as locks, and were (according to the Internet) the right size.Well, the articles that mentioned them did say that they were a nice snug fit, with no play so that they didn't move around and make a noise ... no kidding! They fit VERY tightly. Good, because it makes it impossible to get a knife/hacksaw blade under the lid, but bad in that they fit at an angle ... which is ok ... just looks a bit odd.Other than that pretty solid. Good buy.
