exact replacement for my Pentair MiniMax NT (propane) pool heater... Heater fires up first time again and not start/stop/start/stop cycling that happens when the existing flame sensor is aging...

My pool/spa heater would light then immediately shut off the gas. It would repeat this multiple time. Replacing the flame sensor fixed it. The only thing to note is that this flame sensor does not come with the flame resistant gasket. You can order the Lynn Manufacturing High Temperature Gasket Paper Superwool and cut your own.

These go bad from time to time and are pretty easy to install. My pool heater would fire then shut off, then keep cycling like that for a few time before setting a code. Replaced this and bam, it fired right up and kept working.

My pool heater would go through the burner ignition sequence three times then give me an 05 Error code. I reset the system by using the on/off switch below the electronics containment box, same error code. I removed the old flame sensor and saw the sensor electrode was burned to a nub. I ordered this one from Amazon and installed the new one, turned off the switch, waited a few seconds and turned it back on. Pressed the SPA button and the system ignited and stayed lit. Now it operates like the manufacturer intended. This is the exact replacement for MiniMax NT.
