I bought this item once and the CDI was Dead on arrival. The spark plug and wire worked fine. I got a replacement which worked for 15 minutes then failed. I kept switching it out with the original to make sure that the wires were properly seated etc. The original worked fine, this supposed upgrade doesn't. Save your money.

I've gone through 3 of these now and finally learned my lesson. The spark plug wire goes in to the spark plug successfully but it usually rips apart inside (no matter how you grip it). It's too loose for the plug, then when you tighten it a bit it's tight enough to not vibrate off the plug but too tight so that the inside crimped terminal rips off the end of the wire and the resistor and spring pops out.

Ignition box not wired yet as not just a plug and play its different as per each application. Spark plug and coil plug wire work Great.

easy to install on my 50cc denali. takes off with less hesitation on acceleration, and noticed increase in speed. along with my open cone air filter.

Bought the 150CC Tao Tao second-hand. 3400 Kilometers. The CDI and the coil failed at same time. This set works and much better performance and starting. Given that both failed at same time and the price, bought a second set to keep under seat incase of failure on the road.

Used this CDI unit to replace a failing CDI off of my 1985 Honda Big Red 250es. Unfortunately lost the use of the Neutral light but bike runs great and does not die when it gets hot anymore. Saved me big $$$. These will work on any Honda 6-pin CDI box.

Works on a Chinese gy6 49cc or 50cc. As far as performance wise, I haven't tested it out yet. I installed both and it started right up. Fast shipping, it only took 4 days.. But lnly 4 stars because, i dont think the cdi lit up and it had some wear on it but if it works as it should than i am going to rate it 5 STARS later!
