I got this torch to do minor work on the car for heating up bolts. It works pretty well, but every so often when you leave it on for a minute or two and try to restart it it has trouble. But overall, it works pretty well.

It gets stuck on. Not only does it get stuck on, it shoots out a giant lighter-esque flame, rather than the controlled, pointed torch flame. It’s not really worked well since the day I bought it.

Filled the product up, but will not light. Tried trouble shooting. Nothing, Very frustrating. And to make things worse, you can't return it. So now I have a butane torch that doesn't work and isn't even heavy enough to use as a paper weight. Very disppointed.

This is the second Perfoance Tool I have purchased. The first did really well for about 3 years then the igniter quit working. I ordered a replacement from Amazon. It works but after it is filled the pressure regulator is very eratic. It shoots out a long flame then dies. It does this untill the fuel level comes down a bit. This is why I gave it 3 stars. My first one never had this issue. Used for soldering small copper fittings.

Works pretty well to light cigars. However, it is a bit delicate and mine broke when it took about a 2 foot fall to the floor. Ought to be tougher than that.

This has been a superb tool. I use it in making product that needs a torch and was getting tired of buying cheaper ones multiple times. So far I have lit this one well over 1,700 times. It still performs the same now as when it did brand new. Its perfect. Not hard to press the ignition button or hold it down. Easy to refill. Very easy to adjust the flame; I like how they created a flip up tab so you can quickly adjust it rather than having to get a screwdriver. Very solid construction and a quality product. I do believe this will last several months with my daily average use being between 90-120 times per day.
