I have used these mats before and they are surprisingly tough and resistant to foot traffic. I linked 4 together to create a workout space and I'm very satisfied.

I bought this for my workshop where I have to stand on concrete for long periods of time when machining. I found the mat slides around a lot and in fact is less comfortable than the 2' x 3' mat I had before. After a month its starting to get depressions ( I weigh 162 lbs) and it is very hard to clean as small pieces of metal get embedded into the soft material. Probably OK for non shop applications but not sturdy enough for me.

Have used this product to make a front mat for our Dodge Caravan a few times. Last about 3 years before the driver's right heel wears thru. Covers the complete area. Suggest making a paper template and cutting little bigger and trimming to fit perfect later.

This was great and easy to lay down. Probably not what I needed but it did dampen sound and keep the room warmer. It slides around and I had to get non skid pads under it after I took a spill. I needed something a little harder and I found sweeping it difficult so I will get something without a texture or pattern on top. Over all good deal for the price depending on your needs. My cat tears it up because it's soft so I'll need a heavier rubber product.

The matting was purchased for a skid to raise my washer and dryer off the basement floor. I needed something that was soft but not mussy. This is perfect for my application. It reduces the noise. The wash machine doesn t bounce like it did on the cement floor. It also provides for a soft step to reach up to the upper shelves. The price was very good. For my application I am very satisfied.

I got this as a workout mat for my garage. Thought this would help a bit since o cent get my hands on any of those thick tiles. This is perfect size for 1 person workout area and I love that it rolls up! but it’s extremely light weight and shifts/moves around with any sort of movement. This would work great for a standing only area or possibly yoga. Bummed but i guess for the money not terrible.

I bought this foam anti fatigue mat to sit in front of my CNC mill at work. It was to replace a much more expensive one that had become worn and full of coolant, chips etc. This mat is great for protecting my feet from the cold concrete and when it wears out, its not so expensive I cannot afford to replace it. Very happy with the product.

Great mat, keep equipment safe and floor safe. Compared to the small square mats, this roll is better if you have to move your equipment you are not stock in cracks... it's a great piece.

got to use under my desk, it looks and works great. helps minimize the noise(replaced a vinyl diamond plate mat) it doesent soak up water so easy to clean. only thing is even with roller blade wheels on my chair it still stretches the mat at times making a hump but thats not its intended purpose so no complaints other that i would like to beable to get one 6x8'. id buy again if needed

This stuff works wonders. I initially used it to make some cheap clone trooper armor. It is just thick enough to maintain some durability, but it's thinner than the bulky square mats that are too hard to cut and heat form. I have now bought it a couple of times for a variety of projects. It's also WAY more for the price than alternatives. Great product!PS: I will soon upload pictures of the armor so you can see what one can do with it!

I purchased this product in order to use for a cosplay at the recommendation of many sites and tutorials.I have almost nearly used up the entire roll, so let me give you some of my experiences:It cuts easy. You don't even need a heated blade to cut this foam unless you are going for detailed precision. I used a regular old folding knife to size it out into various squares and rectangles so I could further refine them for the pieces I needed. Simple. Be mindful, though, that it is rolled and may be a bit difficult to hold still as you cut. I would recommend rolling it out completely and flattening it with weights in order to make precision cuts.It also burns/melts easily. Don't hold your heat sources to it for more than a second or two or you risk melting away at the foam and leaving ugly indents. On the topic of heat, though, it is very easy to shape using a heat gun. Make sure to use the mid-range heat setting and do a simple quick sweep over the flat side of the foam - you will notice the difference. The color will become slightly darker as the foam reacts to the heat and starts to contract and seal. I normally do one pass across each piece, shape it a bit, do another pass as it cools, shape some more, rinse and repeat. Be careful not to hold the heat gun too close or for too long or else the foam will begin to bubble and become rough. If you burn it, it will turn an ugly white-ish color.Hot Glue: This foam is absolutely fantastic for hot glue. Hot glue bonds and hardens quickly with this foam. Before this, I was used to holding pieces of 3/8 foam together for 5 to 10 minutes at a time until the glue had set but the foam from this mat takes half that time. Be careful not to burn yourself on the glue, though, as it seems to also run pretty easily at bad angles. I've already suffered three separate hot glue burns and they aren't fun, lol.Paint and Plasti-Dip: Plasti-Dip and rustoleum spray paint works extremely well on this foam. Follow the recommended steps of 3 layers of plasti-dip over an hour and the same for spray paint. As far as using it for its intended purpose... I did create a pair of shoes for my cosplay and I used this foam for my insoles. The foam is very comfortable to walk on and definitely feels like it will live up to its name.Highly recommended.
