Last year my 9 year old did a different set of this and this year he did this one. It’s an excellent activity for all ages. We keep it and set it out at Christmas each year.

This kit is one of the cooler things I've seen done with Perler beads. Patience is required if you're ironing with a cheap household iron with inconsistent heat like me, and you probably wouldn't want this to be your first ever experience with Perler beads. You have to get them to melt just the right amount for everything to fit together nicely, but the end result is pretty awesome.
