Shake the pen well.
Hold the pen with the tip up and press it with thumb to release air out.
Press the tip down several times until the paint starts to flow.

I tried to use this for chips in some trim work around the house. It was very hard to get any paint to come out if at all. Didn’t work well. Would not buy again

I needed something to keep our Beware of Dog signs from fading. I painted the letters easily and the signs are still vibrant and readable months later. Plenty of paint left after 4 signs done. It is about the size of a sharpie so it is comfortable to hold and use. There are so many other uses I have found around the house. Will be buying more in different colors.
