I use this for differential covers as well as water pump installations. Don't use too much, and read the instructions regarding application, setting times, and time before use. I haven't had this fail before or leak.

Permatex Blue is an all purpose sealant and gasket maker. I have used Permatex Blue to completely seal my 1991 Nissan Sentra Distributor Cap. When you want to do the job right this is the stuff.
