I did a complete Pertronix ignition change on 1977 MGB. Very happy with everything with the exception of the coil wire. The coil wire is very short and is fine if the coil is pointed down. I purchased the oil filled coil and the coil wire is not long enough to install the coil upward as the supplier suggests.I have looked everywhere and have not been able to come up with just a longer Pertronix coil wire.

Put these on a Clark forklift with the continental 4-cylinder. Coil wire was a bit short, but I didn't like the location it was in anyway, so I just moved it closer. Engine runs great after doing these with the rest of a full tune-up.

I bought this for my 1971 MGB.The lead for the coil is to short so I'm going to have to mess around swapping connectors which is what I wanted to avoid.
