I would suggest this scooper, especially at the current price point. It is a good value in comparison to the last few we've had. The spring action is strong. It can fold down if needed. The scoop is ample enough to handle even a large dog's load. I live in a rural area and generally only use these to relocate the dog's business from yard to wooded area where humans don't tread, but still only get a couple of seasons from using three times daily and leaving outdoors. This one seems a little more solid that others we've had, so I'm hopeful it will last even longer. If it does, I'd probably make this my regular brand.

This is a great alternative to a shovel and rake we were using.-It came in well packaged and in perfect shape.-The plastic is fairly sturdy and does not crack easily.-The handle is large and does not pinch your hand when using. It does require more force to open than some others we have tried.-Being mostly plastic they rinse off easily. Although on that same note would not store them in direct sunlightThe one handed operation of these is much more convenient than other options.

Love the long handle on this baby. Saves my back so much Trouble!Extremely durable, can pick up a good pile in one grab.No assembly required which is always great. Holds up well to a good pressure wash!

Scooper came very well packaged and fully assembled. The scoop is large, so easy to scoop up your dog's mess, even for larger dogs. The only reason for 4 stars is that the springs are so tight that it is hard for me to squeeze the handle. That isn't going to be an issue for someone with better hand strength, and I'm sure they'll loosen up over time. Overall, very well made and does the job it's designed to do. Much easier than my old shovel and rake method!

My husband used this for the first time yesterday. It worked okay but he did ask if there was a larger one I could get. We have a 6 month old Great Dane puppy so poops are probably larger than average plus the weather has been so cold that poop hasn’t been cleaned up for a while & there was a lot. It took him a while because he wasn’t able to pick up much at once.

So at first I felt like the spring action in this was a little bit too strong. It's difficult for my kids to use and my hand feels a little tired after cleaning up the yard. But with more use, I realize that the spring needs to be strong and sturdy to be able to close up all the way when you pick up the poo! You can actually stack quite a bit of poop in it before you need to empty it because of how strong the spring is! And with a week of use i do feel that the stiffness has seemed to soften a bit.. either that or my hands are getting stronger lol. In any case, I appreciate a pooper scooper that allows me to not have to bend over and it gets the job done fast!

I received this product through Amazon Vine. This Pooper Scooper seems sturdy and well made. However, personally I have some difficulty with this Pooper Scooper. The one thing everyone should be aware of, is that the handle of this Pooper Scooper is made for med to large hands. I have a smaller hand and find it difficult to get a good grip on the handle of the Pooper Scooper. Added to this issue for me is that my hand grip could be stronger, so between having a smaller hand and the Pooper Scooper requiring a stronger hand grip, I am having some issues with this Pooper Scooper. Also, I'm 5'1" and this Pooper Scooper is a good length for my height which I appreciate. With some care, this Pooper Scooper should last for a very long time.

I recently adopted a little black German Shepherd Dog. She's a peach, and I love her dearly, but now I have to deal with poop. Daily. One of the conditions of me getting a dog was that I wouldn't let the yard become a litter box. Picking up poop is never a fun task, so anything that makes it easier is gold to me. I had a poop scooper before, but it broke fairly quickly, so when I saw this one I decided to give it a shot. It's a pretty nice scoop! The handle feels a bit cheap, but the actual jaws of the scoop are tight and aggressive. I went through and was able to pick up frozen poop without issue. Having one of these makes it much easier and cleaner to pick up dog poop, and the easier a task is the more likely you will do it.I recommend!
