It was hard to get a good photo, the cone is wrapped up very tightly in a fairly narrow box, so it has a tightly roller "memory" straight out of the box. Maybe applying heat &/or laying flat a while would lessen it's tight curve. I went down 1 star because the price point is a little bit high for the quality in my opinion. That being said, this is still a good pet cone! It doesn't have loops to attach it to your pet's collar, so it may not be as secure as other options. It is lined around the neck with some soft felt but the plastic is a bit rigid & may not be comfortable for animals with a lot of neck. The velcro is really wide which makes it easy to adjust this to fit more sizes than a lot of cones do. These feels like a pretty durable cone, but that is from the rigidity of the plastic which could make it less comfortable.

Our female Shih Tzu had a wound that we needed to keep her from licking. We ordered this cone a couple days before her surgery and it arrived right on time.Packaging was good and the cone was pretty easy to set up and put around our girl’s neck. It worked to keep her from licking - but we ended up switching to a donut style cone for added comfort.

This did fit and was true to size but the cone is much shorter than I needed. It would work well for a less flexible dog but mine is like an acrobat. If your dog isn't flexible, only has to be kept away from their front shoulders, or is very cone averse this may be for you but if they are flexible and have an injury lower on their body I would look elsewhere.

Our dog is about 60lbs (we ordered the medium size) and has some hot spots at the base of his tail he kept breaking open with licking. We had a donut style “cone” on him but he could still reach it. This cone blocks his reach. I was irritated by the sticker; it wouldn’t come off cleanly even after hitting it with a hairdryer, which usually works for me. It does make eating and drinking out of his elevated dishes difficult so we take it off periodically for him.

Fits well and seems comfortable. Prevents my cat with anxiety from scratching his ears so it works the way I need it to.
