It would be good for spot stains. I wanted to use on 3 X 5 rug at back door that has carpet style backing. Had to spray in sections.Didn’t clean first time so had to redo.

This carpet shampoo does a good job of cleaning up pet stains. It has a pleasant scent and I have not noticed my puppy going back to spots where he has had an accident. I would recommend this product to others and buy it again.

I have a two-year-old white Karastan carpet in the bedroom. There are no pets or children and no shoes ever tread on it. Yet, it developed two stains that bothered me a lot. One was a 1-1/2" gray discoloration and the other a 2-1/2" yellow (presumably oily) stain. When I bought this product I did not have high hopes for it. However, I followed the seller's instructions on the video provided at Amazon.com and the stains disappeared. This product has no odor. I am very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend it.

I have a 15 year old Corgi who had always been potty trained but lately in her senior days, occasionally forgets that our living room isn’t the yard. Had a set-in dog pee stain on in the middle of our beige carpet for a year and it bothered me every time I walked by it. I have tried using many other carpet sprays and they didn’t do anything. Then I watched Stain Fu video on how to clean set-in Stain using a metal utensil to spread the Stain Fu evenly, a clean towel to lay over the stained spot and put a couple of heavy books over the top of the towel. I checked it soon after and the stain had gotten up on the towel. Then rearranged towel to a clean spot and put it over the spot with books again. After several minutes, yellow brown stain was almost gone to my surprise. Afterwards, I used a carpet cleaner to wash the spot. Stain was gone completely and did not reappear at all. It saved us money not having to hire a professional using unsafe chemicals, as I rarely use chemicals in our house or yard. I’ve done that in the past and they told me pee stains are hard to get rid of. I’m glad this time I took a risk trying this spray because it’s quite expensive for a bottle but after this experience, I found that it’s totally worth the money spent when compared to other carpet sprays that don’t have such results. Spray has a nice smell too. Great and effective product! Highly recommend!

Product helped a little, but not what their video boasted. I used their technique, but the stain is still there. Their help hotline was disconnected. My emails went unanswered. I went through two bottles, and still have a stain.

So after reading all the great reviews on this product I decided to give the product a shot. So our pup peed on our couch just one time and the smell was very strong. I did try to soak up as much that I could with a dry cloth then cleaned it with a wet on. The next day I received the stain fu and applied first drenching and let it dry. The smell was still there. So I did a second drenching let it dry the smell did not go away. So I drenched it for the third time by now I was almost out of the whole bottle. It dried. Smell was less but still the. This stuff don't work. Very disappointed will not buy again.

Stain Fu is like magic in a bottle. This stuff really works on so many different stains. I have been using it for a long time now and it never disappoints. In my house it has cleaned coffee, watercolor paint, wine and (Warning, it’s going to get graphic.) the largest area of dog regurgitation known to man as well as those other kind of accidents our pets are known to have. I love this stuff so much that I not only buy it for myself, I usually have a couple bottles on hand so I give some to my friends and family so that they can have some of that magic as well. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t inwardly groan when it comes to cleaning carpet stains, but with Kung Fu the job is accomplished quickly and completely.

This stuff is AMAZING! I have used it on viscose, wool, and cotton fiber rugs with nothing but success and no damage or lightening. Viscose is super delicate and very difficult to clean...water can't touch it or it will turn yellowish brown - you can't scrub it or it will break the fibers, but I actually managed to clean dog diarrhea off a viscose rug using this! The process was slow, but worked. I carefully dry cleaned it as best I could to remove the "excess" without pushing the debris further into the fibers, then allowed the spot to dry overnight...no initial scrubbing! The next morning, I sprayed the spot with Stain Fu and set up a fan to help speed dry it. After the 20 minutes, I blotted the spot with a towel and allowed it to dry throughly through the afternoon. I then lightly sprayed the spot again, flipped the rug over and allowed it to dry upside down overnight. It's important to never saturate the rug. When I flipped it the next morning, the brown stain was completely gone and there was no odor, just a very slight yellowing ring that was not caused from the Stain Fu cleaner, but from the moisture from the original diarrhea stain - I somewhat expected that. To remove the yellowing, I mixed up a Citric Acid solution and lightly sprayed it on the spot then flipped it back upside down to dry overnight. The next day, the stain and yellowing were completly gone...out of a viscose rug!!!!! I am so impressed with this stuff. I thought I was gonna have to throw my $1500 rug out. Will be buying a gallon of this stuff to keep on hand!
