  • Yes, but not immediately after opening. KMR powder can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 months after opening and then must be refrigerated. (KMR powder can be used up to 1 additional month after refrigeration.)

  • We suggest feeding a kitten 2 tablespoons of liquid or reconstituted powder milk replacer per 4 ounces of body weight in a 24 hour period. For instance, a kitten weighing 8 ounces should receive 4 tablespoons of formula within 24 hours.

  • No, each of our PetAg formulas are designed for the specific nutritional needs of the species (ie, dog or cat) and they are not interchangeable.

  • The fat and protein levels on powdered milk replacers are higher because they reflect the nutrients of the undiluted powder. After adding 2 parts water, the fat and protein content will match that of the liquid milk replacer.

  • No. Milk Replacers are perishable products. If a formula appears to be spoiled in any way, it should NEVER be fed to an animal.

This cat formula is very good it was very easy to mix and make milk although the kittens ate from their mother all the time as they're getting a little older I wanted to wean them off the mother so they can start eating regular food after about 6 weeks so I would make this once a day and they would drink it and lick it and they got used to it after the whole can was gone after a while it's a small can it's just enough until they wean off the mom and they started eating once they started eating then they were never want to stop but the formula is very good it looks like a regular milk except you got to use warm water and you have to measure it can I put in a little glass bowl to keep it fresh and it would stay half the day until they were finished once again was finished that was it I tried the bottles but they didn't like the bottles of the nipples they still wanted Mommy so once I put it in the bowl then they learned how to fend for themselves it's very good formula very ideal it's good to buy it on Amazon and get a quick get it delivered the prices in bad thank you Amazon sheila

I currently have 2 kittens that were abandoned by there mother. This product is crucial to care for these little guys. I would have preferred the 12oz size, but this will do short term. Plain instructions, easy to mix, kittens love it.

Meiner Meinung nach die beste Aufzuchtmilch die zu bekommen ist! Früher habe ich mamilac verwendet, das ist gleich Wertig.

I always choose KMR over another brand because of the taste and make the kitten drink much more. It is hard to mix if you a new user but read carefully what the direction of mixing says in the label. Just follow it.

First off, I ordered this to nurse a baby bunny back to health. My one cat kind of scalped the baby bunny near his hind leg. He wasn't too interested in the whole scene but, we were able to get some mother cat milk jazz into "Jim," which we named said bunny. He was doing super well and then, boom, he died. Well, turned out my one cat, not the one who murdered Jim, but another, got pretty sick. About a month ago, he pulled out one of his toenails and the region became infected. We were treating him outwardly but not inwardly. I ended up getting some natural antibiotics here on Amazon. He seemed to be doing OK but suddenly was at death's door. Having worked in an animal hospital a thousand years ago, I was able to use some of the skills. I used this after all in order to get some liquids, fat and vitamins into the cat. This item, in conjunction with an animal nursing kit, the above-mentioned natural antibiotics, Benadyne, (spelling?), applied to the paw and baby food, saved the cat's life. We looked at the directions to see if grown cats could have this and it had instructions for cats that are 3 plus pounds. Plus, because it is NOT cow's milk, which is horrible for cats, contrary to popular belief, I felt confident in giving him some. He loved it and lapped it up wildly. I would recommend having some of this on hand for any cat owner just in case of sickness. It will not harm the cat and, since it's, in essence, powdered mama cat milk, it is good for the animal. Especially compared to that taboo cow milk I mentioned earlier, lol. Good price too and one can chose from different sizes, which is a bonus. I'm going to give Sly, the cat in question, some later, as it has been a while. He lost a bit of weight and this has the fat he needs and other goodies too. We are now just down to treating the paw with the stuff I can't spell, since his antibiotic run is over. I hope this long and boring review helps someone.
