I've bought two of these. They're fantastic. Rather than buying cheap $5 scratch pads, you can buy this one and leave it up for far longer. My cat uses it like crazy, even long after it looks fully chewed up. The fact that you can rotate it and get more uses is also great.A couple minor things to know:1 - You will get cardboard shreds all over, long-term. Put it somewhere easy to sweep if you can.2 - There's also the same high-quality corrugated cardboard on the inside, but my cat doesn't use the inside. I took a saw to my first one and cut it into three basic scratch pads to get extra mileage.3 - Sadly, the price has gone up over time. I suppose that's to be expected, but it's a lot harder to convince myself to pay $40 for what was once under $30. It *is* good value in that you're getting a high quality product, but I'm fairly cheap and I'm having trouble convincing myself to buy a third despite how well it works.

This is my second time purchasing this. It is excellent quality, lasts many months, and my cat loves it. My furniture barely gets noticed in favour of this scratching alternative. Doesn’t leave mountains of cardboard on your carpet like cheaper versions do. Imported, so import fees apply upon pickup.

Rekommenderas starkt.

This is my second purchase on one of these. The first one lasted about 2 years. It's nice that it has three sides so when one side starts getting bad you can just turn it. It's also nice because it's a tunnel so the cats play with it and couldn't get inside and scratch it as well. The size and appearance is great it's very lightweight since it's only cardboard. The quality is really great.

I forgot to bring this when we traveled to our winter home. My cats missed it immensely. They lay inside & scratch both inside & outside constantly. Two cats will run inside with their bum sticking out so I can "beat their bum!" It lasts a long time & they enjoy it so much that it's worth every penny.

My elderly cat has always enjoyed scratching wallpaper. We have just had our house redecorated - no wallpaper, so I wanted to give her something to scratch. I had tried the string posts before without real success. So, I bought the "triangle" and after a bit of training - ie: placing her claws on the cardboard, she has taken to it perfectly. She now uses it for scratching using her claws, she uses the sides to rub under her chin and then sits in the interior, like it is her new bed. I put a little bit of catnip inside the "triangle" and this worked like magic.Aesthetically, this product is very attractive - it looks almost sculptural and does not look out of place in our lounge, placed by the radiator where our cat likes to lie to keep warm. It is made of very dense, extremely strong cardboard (yes, I know you would not think it would look particularly nice, but I promise you, it looks rather chic) and I feel it will last a good amount of time. I would say that it is a good idea to place it in a "favourite" place, use a reasonable amount of catnip, take your cat to the scratching post, place their claws on it and "train" him/her. Our cat was initially reluctant.....but within a few days, she started using it very happily.Overall, I am really thrilled with this product - thank you to PetFusion.

EDIT: I just bought my second PetFusion 3-Sided Scratching Post to replace the first one. The first one lasted me four months with one cat using it every day, multiple times a day. He loves that thing. It still has a little bit of life left but he's starting to take interest in my couch again so it's time for a replacement. He doesn't ever claw my furniture when he's got a nice spot on his triangle.Short review: Love it, definitely recommend it and will definitely be buying another in the distant future when my cat scratches this one all up.Detailed review: I'd been having problems with my cat clawing on my furniture and carpets and wasn't sure how to solve the problem. He had a sisal and a fabric scratcher but did not seem to want to use either of those and preferred everything I didn't want him to scratch on. I got him this as his Christmas present and frankly, I don't think I could be more pleased. He immediately stopped scratching my furniture all-together, and he uses it every day. I had a few concerns when I first purchased and this is how they turned out:1. They offer two sizes. Is the regular going to be tall enough for my on-the-large-side domestic? I trusted the reviews and went with the regular size and it was a good decision. Great height for my cat to stretch his back the way he likes and really get a deep, spirit-rejuvenating scratch. At least that's the way he sees it. If you have a very large breed, like Maine Coons, who like to stretch when they scratch I think I would recommend opting for the Large.2. The cardboard isn't replaceable and I have used plenty of $9 cardboard insert scratchers, so I was concerned about longevity. Granted, I have only had this for a week and a half, however I'm confident about its lifespan. The cardboard is visibly higher quality than the standard pet store stuff. You've got six different places for your cat to scratch (the inside counts! my cat does use the inside, esp when he's playing) all you have to do is rotate once your cat has ripped up one side. I have also noticed that my guy only scratches heavily on the top of the outside so I can just flip the same-side upside down and get more use out of it. The design of this scratcher works really well.3. Worth the money? This one's easy - yes. It's not heavy at all, very easy to lift and move around but since it's light, if you have wood floors it may slide a little when your cat uses it but they sent some rubber floor stoppers that just stick on whatever side is currently the bottom and they work great. They also included a small bag of catnip, I assume to attract your cat to the scratcher if they're feeling shy but it was just a bonus holiday present for my kitty because he scratched on his triangle the moment I put it down. The only complaint I really have is that my scratching post arrived with the cardboard damaged on one side, pushed in like it had been dropped on something or vice versa. Makes a good chunk of that side unscratchable so I lost some value there.

I like this scratcher; not only is it visually pleasing, but as many reviewers have noted, it has greatly reduced my cats' urges to shred my linen recliner. I have purchased many scratchers and I have found for my two cats that rope/hemp/straw scratchers are absolutely worthless. They won't go near them. I purchased some carpet ones as well, but they didn't seem to like them either (although they enjoy pulling at my carpet). I finally purchased some horizontal cardboard ones, and that helped reduce their urge to pull at my carpet, but they continued to pull at my recliner. I knew it was because it satisfied their vertical stretching/scratching urges, so I tried to make a vertical scratcher from my cardboard rectangles, but the cats easily pulled them down. I finally found this one. Although it is a little expensive (and a little late as my recliner is pretty well destroyed), it is saving me money in that the cats have nearly completely stopped using the recliner and instead use this triangle for their scratching needs.I did want to note a few things: first, my cats wont go near the inside of the triangle, so this part is useless to me. I'm sure that's not the case for other reviewers, and this is a minor thing, I just wanted to note it. Second, an annoying, but unavoidable side effect of getting much use is that this sheds cardboard pieces like crazy, and the cats drag them all over the living room. Again, a minor, unavoidable effect; harmless and nothing the vacuum can't handle. And third, and the reason why I took a star away, is because the way this triangle is made, you can indeed flip it so that your cats have fresh areas to shred (mine pretty much only shred the top half of the triangle so you can flip it and use the other end), but the direction of the cardboard on some of the sides is less "satisfying?" for my cats. When the cardboard grain is facing upward, they love shredding it, but when the triangle is flipped and the grain is pointing downward, they find it far less useful. I assume because instead of their nails catching on the grain, they kind of slide down. I don't know if that makes any sense, and maybe this is just an issue for my cats, but my cats pretty much only got good use out of two areas, when if flipped as much as possible, I should get a total of 6 scratching areas. My cat's haven't gone back to the recliner, but I have seen them going back to the horizontal cardboard one. I'm afraid that if I don't get a new vertical scratcher soon, they will go back to the bad habit of using my linen recliner. As I said, the chair is already in pretty bad shape, but I had plans to get a new one once I figured out a way to get them to stop shredding it, so I don't want them to start back up.All in all, I'd recommend this; the cats like it, it saves furniture and it's modern design makes me feel like less of a crazy cat lady.
