Perfect bowl for my cat. The plastic fish are just high enough to slow him down, but not too difficult for him.

My 2 year old cat started eating pretty fast, like finishing a meal within a minute or less. This has slowed her down a lot and now she actually chews! The cleaning is easy, I just toss it in the dish washer. She hates it because it works so well! It stays nicely on a no slip mat. I have it placed in front of an automatic feeder and it catches the food with little spilling!

The bowl was nicely sized and sturdy but I found out the hard way that bowls made of this kind plastic material often cause allergic skin reactions on your cats lips, nose and chin resulting is sores, bumps, red skin and fur loss.

I purchased this for a kitten who'd unhinge her jaw if she could to cram more food down her gullet! Unfortunately, she's so tiny, she fits completely inside the bowl, lol. It's great for larger animals, however, and has great weight to it.10/10

The bowl does slow down the speed of my eating his food. Unfortunately the plastic is light and the bowl moves around when he tries to get the food out. Just need to find a way to secure the bowl. Otherwise it indeed helps.

My cats always eat too fast and after having this, they start to slow down. Awesome design! The depth is good and the fish shape wasn't too high and complicated so they still can have their food easily. They are made with plastic but still can place in the top rack of the dish washer. Highly recommended!

Since I got this one the cat stopped throwing up,the raised parts are just perfect for a cat.Suggestion, when you put the dry food, shake the plate until, it is spread around evenly,I had to add two sided tape so it will not slide around.

My cat usually inhales his food very fast it usually takes him a minute and thirty second to Finnish. But using this bowl it took him 5 minutes and 50 seconds to finish his food, he is also a larger cat so the bowl is a good size unlike other slow feeders on the market.

My cat loves it! Finished his first meal this morning and doesn’t rush thru it. We use this dish for his tsp of wet food and he has to “hunt” for it. Slows him down exactly ad expected.

I have a cat that inhales their food then vomits even though it's out all day. I tried a few slow feeders and this is one of the few shallow high lipped ones that contain the food well and scattered the food enough that eating time is less. It works most of the time, for the areas where it gathers they still manage to eat that pretty quick. I would suggest putting 1/2cup(shown above) or less of kibble otherwise it goes over the fish and defeats the purpose of the slow feeder. Easy to clean, good material. I do wish they had a few other colors available though, I'd love this in pink or purple, maybe red. The pastel color of the green is nice though!

Our guy is a very fast eater and then goes over and eats the other one's food! This bowl has slowed him down and now he is still eating when the other one finishes! The design is cute and eating is like a game. Using it for dry food only right now.
