This hard plastic handle is actually smaller than it would appear from the picture. It is way too small for my very small hands to grasp comfortably. If you're using a large 12"-16" file, stick with a traditional wood handle or some shape that fills your palm better. Filing by hand is work enough without blisters!

This file handle is unsatisfactory when used in larger files or rasps, the opening for the file tang is too small and narrow. I was unable to mount my larger size files.
