Damned wonderful file. I wish that the Pferd logo/name would have been pressed into the file instead of printed on, but overall this is a great tool. I use it for careful deburring and shaping of parts in a sheet metal fabrication shop.

The Pferd Hand File is a quality tool. Sadly, it appears virtually no files are made in the US any longer. The good US brand names still exist, however those brands are made in South America or South Asia. Their quality is not the same. Pferd files are made almost exclusively in Germany. They cost a bit more, but they are well worth it. I have been very pleased with the several that I have purchased. I expect to be buying more and suggest you consider them for your next hand file purchase.

Diese Ansatzfeile ist wirklich der Hammer! Ich benutze sie um ungehärteten Messerstahl nach meinen Wünschen zu formen.Bei Hieb 00 denkt man ja an eine Sehr grobe Feile, und genau das wollte ich eigentlich, schrubben. Allerdings ist ein Hieb 0 oder Hieb 00 bei Ansatzfeilen immer noch sehr fein. Aber der Wahnsinn ist: Durch die geniale Schärfe dieser Feile und die präzise Verarbeitung und die enorme Genauigkeit und Härte, beißt diese Feile mindestens genau so viel Stahl ab, wie meine groben Werkstattschrubbfeilen. Dabei erzeugt sie aber viel viel schönere Oberflächen und lässt sich toll da einsetzen wo man wirklich gerade Kanten und Winkel benötigt.Für diesen günstigen Preis der absolute Hammer! Sehr sehr guter Kauf, den ich bestimmt nochmal wiederhole.Ansatzfeilen von Pferd: Sind ihr Geld Wert!
