Complete valve and face plate overhaul for the Avante valve in my shower and bath (SHWR 7105 brass valve body).I replaced the valve cartridge, retaining ring and face plate. The retrofit kit is not compatible with the old Avante face plate. That is why I needed this new one - which is much nicer than the original!Here is the parts list: All available on Amazon :)Pfister S742920 Avanti Cartridge $21Pfister 9319300 09 Series Trim Retrofit Kit $21Pfister 972-300A Retainer Sleeve, Polished Chrome $20Pfister 960-045A Round Wall Flange, Polished Chrome $36DANCO Waterproof Food Grade Silicone Grease $4All together, this is expensive (~$100), but surprisingly, these are all superior quality to the original parts from 1992 and when you finish, you essentially have a completely new setup.I added grease to the new cartridge to help it all go together easier and operate smoothly.I hope this helps others with a similar project.
