I’m an audio engineer and when I’m not doing concerts I do theater work, weddings, and corporate gigs. I needed a few more Lav’s so after having great experiences with other Phenyx Pro products I decided to give the PTU-7000-4B a try.4 channels, Lav and / or headset, in a single rack space for $300, you can’t beat this!I’m running this along with a Phenyx Pro PAS-225 antenna combiner, and deployed recently at a Theater gig alongside 12 Shure units, and the show went flawlessly. Zero drop outs, and the sound was no different than the (waaaay more expensive) Shure Lav’s that were also in use.Next gig, a corporate meeting this time, again - flawless performance. This system is really unbeatable for price and size (4 channels in a single rack space). It’s perfect for smaller installs, maybe a small church, school auditorium, or corporate office meeting room - but can also do the job in larger theater or banquet hall situations.A VERY strong entry into wireless Lavalier / Headset systems, and most likely all you need!

After researching many reviews of this product brand I decided to give them a shot and very glad I did. I was in the market for a multi channel wireless mic system to implement into a audio rack I put together for wedding ceremonies, karaoke shows, etc. This microphone system fit the bill perfectly. I had it up and running just minutes after unboxing with it's ease of operation. The ability to change frequencies is a huge upgrade from my previous fixed channel system that would often get interface at some venues like firehalls where there was other radio activity in the area. The auto-scan feature scans the environment to match you up with the best group/channel to use to avoid any conflicts with other wireless devices in the area. It's also a huge bonus for officiants having both the headset or lavalier to choose from and I'm likley going to add to handhelds to this system as well for complete flexibility. Do not be fooled by the price this is a solid system that will stand toe to toe with some of the more expensive well known brands out there. Phenyx Pro is definitely a rising brand in my opinion and will be doing amazing things if they continue to produce this type of quality at a friendly budget price ... I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a legit multi channel system for a amazing value.

I play in a cover band out of STL. We were looking to buy a compact wireless microphone system to put in our road rack that would allow us to take our IEM system to clubs with house sound and enhance our performances with wireless vocal capabilities. The PTU-7000B was right at the price point we were looking for.The 7000B option has four wireless headset mics and also came with lav mics. Given the video production we do, I thought this was a nice add. I also ended up buying four handheld mics that can be paired with the system. The headset mic option intrigued me. I was worried about the "boy band" look, but to my surprise, I have really enjoyed the freedom from being chained to the mic stand. Both myself (guitarist) and our bassist have opted for the headset. We were concerned about sacrificing sound quality over our wired mics. We all used wired Shure Beta 58s for vocals previously. But given we are a bar band, we could sacrifice some sound quality for a more interactive performance. But after we dialed in the EQ on both the headset and handheld mics, there is little to no noticable difference. These mics sound surprisingly good. And the range is excellent as well. Certainly enough for a bar band.We are extremely satisfied with the purchase. After a few months of testing, we have not run into any issues. We even went back to Phenyx to buy new IEM systems when we were forced to go to a different frequency band. Thanks Phenyx for a fun, affordable, reliable option!(Hoping to post some video in the near future).
