It is not brighter than my old halogen bulbs, inaccurate description

Bulbs worked great originally for about a month then one of them would randomly turn off and on continuous. And just so someone didn't say it's the wiring, I swapped bulbs from each side and it still does it on the other side and the other bulb doesn't, so it is a bulb issue

These don't snap in tight to electric plug. Nice and bright. Troubles with seller- they want a "song and dance".
