Like all plastic items, it can easily be broken or scratched... however, WITH CARE, it could last quite a while. The screen and the magnifier are aimed up at an angle, so best use would be on a desk, you in a chair, about 2 feet away. Not as good as a tablet, but definitely better than nothing, for a quick take along with your phone.

My kids love it as they can now just sit by the table or bed and watch their cartoons o.k. Their own.

Works well, wish I could have it to stand up the.ling way as well so I could better read my books on the phone as well. I still use it for the books but laying in bed lol
