Love these! They look so real without the mess of tiki oil.

We bought 6 of these for our large patio area in Dallas area, which is unusable in the summer due to mosquitos unless we spray. Well, putting six of these babies around our pool and we haven’t seen mosquitos all summer long! Well worth the price. Super easy to install and maintain since they’re solar powered - just drive them into the ground, wait a day for them to charge, push the button to turn them on, and you’re good to go.Highly recommended and we’ll be buying some more for the front!

They add ambience to my patio after dark and I haven't seen a mosquito. Great product for the price.

The solar panel feature is nice but it doesn't come on automatically at sundown most of the time (have to press a button) and it does not attract or kill many bugs. I am unimpressed.

**update** one of the two I purchased doesn't work after an hour. I've only owned them three months. Losing yet another star. So much for that...Works on moths, not mosquitoes or flys. We don't have a lot of moths, not compared to the number of mosquitoes or flies.Battery life is an issue. After charging all day in the hot Texas sun, they don't last more than a couple of hours. I'd like to see them last through the night. One last thing, it looks like it's designed so that it's either getting light from the solar panel, or it turns itself on. At first you think it's an ingenious solution; you either get light to charge the battery or you power up the device but this is actually a problem. If you have these in an outdoor setting where you have a porch light, it'll see the light and not turn on, it'll think it's time to be charging. I had to take little scraps of plywood to cover up the solar panel so they would work when I'm trying to enjoy my backyard.

The torch looks realistic and pretty to look at when it comes on at night. The solar panel charge lasts much of the night.I really like that no wiring is needed and it can be placed anywhere. The pole is flimsy and the bottom prong can break in strong wind, but it also comes with a table-top mount and that is more useful. As a bug zapper it is not great. It does work, but only until it has enough bugs to short-out the circuit and you don't really know when that happened without close inspection. The grid has to be cleaned to restore service and that requires lots of brushing or compressed air. Can of air works well, but it gets costly. The grid voltage is relatively low for a bug zapper and does not cause a loud popping sound when bugs get zapped. The bug tray is too small and also difficult to pull out.So, not great as a bug zapper but a really nice torch lamp. Kind of expensive only as a lamp, though.Update: Stopped working completely after a couple of months. Apparently the switch is not weatherproof. Started working again after replacing the switch with a better one.

Just bought two more. The two we bought a year ago are still going strong even after being left out all winter. Easy to assemble and install. Looks nice, not cheap. Pretty flame like light and we think the mosquito repellent works.

You can't tell when it is charging nor can you tell when it is on or not. I got it to work one night, but since then it has not charged or turned on. Too bad it's past the return time.

I really like the flame colors. These are a nice accent to the patio. The torches don’t work as bug zappers. I have several and a few are 2 years old. One failed to work this season but even though they are not bug zappers at all I bought new ones because they look very good and realistic.

This is a beautiful light up torch but doesn’t attract bugs. Not with it. We bought 2 more just for decoration. Find other light to use
