Put them on and I have to drill some additional holes so it fits and bolts correctly. Not enough holes in the middle adjustment bar to fit the width of bed, although it said it would fit my truck.For the price it is worth doing the diy modifications.

It held weight just fine. I Put ladders and wood on my toyota truck uaing this ladder rack and it worked just fine. I'd buy it again.

First, the ladder rack arrived very quickly and was extremely well packed, all parts were in the package. I also encountered the task of modifying the extension bar as mentioned by another reviewer. There wasn’t enough drilled holes to make the rack fit my truck. Front width is 63 3/4”, back width is 62”. There is no way this rack would extend 71” without using a longer extension tube. There was 4 1/4” left on each side of the tube after I drilled the additional holes. Should have taken a file to the inside of the cross tubes the extension slides into, scratched off some of the paint. Will have to pick up some touch up paint.All in all, happy with the rack and it should do what I needed it for. Seems very secure with the 2 J hooks on each base, which is 14” in length. Really pleased that I can adjust the height of the crossbar, 23” is a great height for me. I like that I can remove and reinstall the rack when needed. Happy with the great price.
