Just FYI, bought one 2 years ago, and I liked the stand, as it worked great. But, if you get one don't lose the plastic parts that lock the guitar in. One cap fell off and was chewed up by my dog, and upon inquiring about a replacement I was told by Grahm at Ace products who make them, (or import them, whatever), that they don't have or sell spare parts for the stands. He did offer me 20% off a new one, so that's something, but I don't like the disposable aspect of it, so I'll be getting something else. I'm sure I can rig something up to make it work, but I really shouldn't have to over a $1.00 piece of plastic. Bummer. Good luck.

This is a sturdy solid rack. BUT, unlike all my other stands, there is no tension in the clip so it falls straight down when unlatched and you have to lift it up to get it out of the way...too bad, great otherwise.

After switching my whole rig to pig hog cables because of their great quality at bargain prices, I decided to try this stand.This guitar stand is epic. People steal my black guitar stands at gigs, so I bought a white one to make mine obvious.But besides being white (because they were out of blue), this thing is beefy! It has thicker, larger metal tubing than my other stands, and the padding is super thick on the arms. It's so thick it's almost comical. Total overkill and I love it.The feet grip the floor well and the stand is really sturdy and doesn't flex as easily as other stands of similar price.My only complaints is that I don't like the little swinging arm to lock the guitar into the stand, so I took mine off. No big deal, but I wish we could buy a version without that, and I wish there were more available colors. Aside from that, it's perfect.Totally happy with this. Will update if I have problems.As for differences, the bottom forks on this one are a bit more narrow and not as long as some other stands, but they're more than you need. Works great.Photo compares it to an old musician's friend stand.

Very sturdy, nicely padded and lightweight. It's not reallyy portable but assembles and breaks down easily if needed. I like how you snap in the neck restraint and know the guitar is secure.

Great guitar stand, very stable holding my dreadnought sized acoustic. The additional padding on the bottom and neck support is nice. The hard plastic clip to keep the neck secure is very sturdy, much better than the cheap rubber locks. Overall very happy with this stand.
