After living up the pills correctly, the cutter works well. Unfortunately there seems to be a manufacturing defect because the section for the pill storage is solid plastic that was not punched out.

I needed to break up an already small pill for my dog. After trying once with a knife, I immediately made this purchase. It is so easy to use, I even keep several of the split pills in the little box part of the pill cutter so I can just grab one quickly when needed. Very handy! It has bonus of small brush very convenient.

If you expect to find a pill cutter that will not leave any dusting or cut perfectly every time then you are going to be looking forever. For me, this cutter has consistently cut with minimal to no dusting. I have cut several hundred pills so far and have only had one instance where the pill shot out of the holder, and let me tell you it went far...

This is the best pill cutter I have ever used and it was so inexpensive. It cuts the peels exactly in half very easily. I highly recommend this product.

The pill I need to cut is a small oblong one and can be tricky to align just right but it gets it done.

This is the sharpest blade I have ever used to cut pills. The cut is clean and always accurate. I love the area to hold the cut pills too. Great little device, and you get TWO for the low price!
