The pilot is made from very soft aluminum, it also angles the flame away from the thermocouple. I was only about to get it to work by rotating it 90 degrees CCW and only mounting with one screw. The OEM pilot is made of steel and brass. The seller also never replied to my request to expedite the shipping. I do not recommend this pilot in any way, or seller.
