If you use the Pilot G-2 mechanical pencils, these erasers are a fantastic replacement. I love the erasers on these pencils as they are precise to erase with.

These erasers are small but surprisingly long-lasting! They are white rubber and erase easily without leaving smears. There 5 erasers in each box which closes securely. I am well satisfied with the product and packaging. My favorite mechanical pencil is a large-body pencil with these small erasers to I was pleased to find a source.

Updated: I have actually reordered at least 3 times.But they seem to work just fine for the pencils I bought them for. I homeschool so I pop the sleeves off erasers in one kind of pencil and leave them on for others. Works great for multiple kinds of mechanical pencils.

I like using my mechanical pencils for everything, and I go through lead refills and erasers a lot. I don't want to sharpen pencil points or throw away writing utensils.

Bought these Pilot erasers in bulk so I can give a 5-eraser pack to co-workers and clients who use 5 mm mechanical pens. Each pack contains 2-tip cleanout wires with circular wire grips. Beats raiding you Mom's (or Dad's) sewing kit and carrying around a sharp sewing needle.
