I really like this ping pong paddle, there are a few items that i will mention- Its slightly heavier than other beginner paddles but just by a few grams. But it's on par with pro paddles that usually are around 180g. I actually like it this way. I think this weight helps a lot with control.- The rubber is very sticky providing great traction, the spin I can get is good I would say 8.5/10- I noticed that the red side sponge is slightly thicker that the black side. I am trying to prove in my games if the black side provides more bounce speed, but I haven't seen major differences so far.- The 2 balls included are seamless, great ones for even response- Very comfortable handleI use this paddle mainly for fun, to play with friends and family, Its is a great one, It could serve well as a beginners to intermediate level players.

I'm confused about what I received. My focus is the paddle, but the product description includes 2 balls and a case (or maybe a cover?).The paddle feels ok. The face plays well. And it is nicely lightweight... But, it is hard to judge the balance because the handle is so short that it is not easy to use. My hands are slightly larger than the average female, but this handle feels way too short in length. The "girth" of it is ok, but the length is not very workable. (Sorry for the awkward imagery!)My rating, though, is based mostly on what seems to be an incomplete product:I received a package box that looks like the mostly plain white box with the logo, and the paddle inside set in a molded plastic piece. But no ping pong balls or any kind of a bag or case al9ng with the paddle.Did I receive a returned item?

The table tennis paddles of today are different than they were when I was a younger man. They now have a second, sticky rubber surface layer right over the dimpled layer on each side that further cushions hits, making the ball easier to control and keep it on the table. This sticky rubber paddle surface layer becomes less effective as you play. However, I find the rubber paddle surfaces can be easily cleaned with plain warm water, clean fingertips, then air dried and brought back to sticky within minutes.This paddle is definitely heavier than other similar paddles I own - even with the carbon fiber layers, which I see as nothing more than a sales gimick - A lot like oxygen free audio cables, lol. I haven't played with this paddle very much yet as I only just received it a few days ago. I haven't played my go-to pong man. So the jury is still out on the real verdict.This paddle comes with a nice full-size zippered case that keeps the playing surface clean and sticky and protected.Overall, I like the paddle, but I'm not certain I could honestly recommend it for the price.

So I have played with the same paddle for years. I just change the rubber on it and keep on playing. Mine is slighter heavier that the guys I play with. This paddle is significantly heavier that my paddle. It's something that you definitely have to get used to. The extra weight changes a lot of things. You hit the ball much harder that normal with the extra weight. You also cannot react as quickly with the additional weight in your hand. It is a very slow paddle. If you are expecting a lot of speed out of the paddle you are not going to get that. It does however have great control and a very discrete spin. With my current paddle I have to really accentuate my motions to add additional spin. With this paddle, just a small motion right at contact gave a very good amount of spin. It was spin that was not super noticeable so opponents were missing many shots because the ball moved away from them rapidly once it hit the table. With the slowness and the weight, I think the paddle is about 30% more expensive that it should be. I can get lighter name brand options with higher control numbers for this price. So i did have to come back and update my review. I didn't realize there was a paddle case under the plastic. Part of my 3 star was the price. Since the case is included that does make the actual paddle cost lower. I would prefer the paddle was about $15 cheaper and no case,but it does include a case.
