Wisteria floribunda 'Pink Ice' (Wisteria Pink Ice) * Full sun to part shade * Zone 6-9 * 30' tall Produces loads of sweetly perfumed elongated bright pink flower racemes 12 to 16 inches long! Pink Ice is one of the few pink-flowering wisteria! Wisteria floribunda 'Pink Ice' is a lovely, vigorous climber up to 30 feet. Boasts loads of sweetly perfumed elongated bright pink flowers each spring. Color lightens as the flowers open, may fade to white in hot areas. 'Pink Ice' grows more slowly than many of the other cultivars. An excellent choice for a smaller garden. Deciduous. The branches of Wisteria 'Pink Ice' twist around their support like a liana, which makes them perfect for embellishing walls, gates, fences pergolas, railings, banisters, pillars or even leave them to climb and twist themselves around the trunks and branches of other trees. This adaptable shrub will also grow harmoniously on its own. In any case, it makes a perfect plant for the most modern to the most traditional of gardens. Wisteria 'Pink Ice' is very low maintenance, it needs an occasional pruning if you want to keep it smaller. Prune after bloom. Culture: Wisteria 'Pink Ice' Best grown in sheltered, warm and sunny positions, in moderately fertile and moist soils. Requires a strong support. Apply a slow-release balanced fertilizer and a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant in early spring. Companion Plants: Goes well with Black Mondo Grass and Black stem hydrangea. Check out our store for these great plants!

I'm giving these plants a 3-star review, even though they probably deserve a 5-star review. Plants arrived as described with excellent packaging. The problem was that I ordered multiple colors of the same plants and they all arrived in the same box, without labeling. So, I can't plant them. Since they were purchased for multiple planting areas.

Planted this bare root the day it was delivered, took only a week in ground before green buds started sprouting! Excited for this to grow.

I have a horticulture degree. This is not a 2 year live plant. This is a cutting from a 2 year live plant placed in soil medium with root tone. That is a huge difference! This is borderline fraud. I paid 24$ down the road for a 2 foot tall, flowering multi-year old plant after returning these.

I am happy with how quickly I received this plant, it came a bit buggy but very healthy. One branch came broken; no big deal, the packaging would be to blame, two flat rate boxes pieced together is a little lame. I am just happy that my pink wisteria floribunda came in nice and healthy, it was worth getting for what I paid for. I will have to wait to see if it is what it says it is, until it blooms.Edit/update5-3-16I loved that it bloomed this year, love that I have a strong healthy wisteria; very disappointed and angry that I did not get what I ordered. In the picture I provided is a flower it's less then 6" long small tight purple clusters, since examining a nursery stock at a nearby store who actually has this year wisteria inventory ( which was too big for me to take home and use for my balcony container garden) a Pink Ice Japanese wisteria and it was in bloom but most noteworthy was the bark, beautiful stripping shades of grey and white, which look nothing like the plant I ordered last year. Gone from 5 star to 2 because it's a good plant strong and healthy just NOT what I ordered.

I received 8 wisterias (2 pink, 2 whites, 2 blue & 2 purple). They were 12-14 inch "sticks" {shipped dormat}. I transferred them into my specialty potting mixture. Withheld water until I saw new growth (48 hours). Its been roughly 3 weeks now, and all but 2 of them (the blue ones) are 3 FEET long!! They are growing so fast...I will need to repot once again before I will be able to plant them outside!!
