It's good, easy to use, like the riser. But the optical view is not very big.

I am not a professional shooter. I am not using the red dot in any outdoor hunting. But, it is good enough for my indoor range practices. More than enough to offer accuracy.

Works well with my gsg 16. Holds 0 with no issue, not sure how if it would hold 0 on an AR or not I didnt try it. For $30 you won't beat it.

Use it with S&W FMP 9mm carbine. Had fun setting it but once set, been good. Holds setting and so far no issues. Use it indoor on 25m

I initially thought this sight was plastic construction due to the price. Much to my surprise, this little thing has really nice weight. As far as I can tell, every part is metal and it's a super solid piece. The added riser is a huge plus, considering most are $5-$10 by themselves.I originally thought 11 different brightness settings was overkill, but it's nice having a degree of fine-tuning like that. The reticle is super easy to see and the relief is pretty good.I just received it tonight, so I don't know how well it operates in the field, but just off build quality alone I have a feeling it'll work for exactly what I need.Bottome line, if you're like me and need just SOME sight for airsoft (even if only for the tacti-cool look), this should be the easiest purchase of your life.

I'm using this for an airsoft gun. I'm not sure how well it would hold up on a thing that actually goes bang, for a gun that goes pew, it works just fine. Sighted it in roughly and quickly and it turns out to be pretty dang accurate. The metal feels cheap, the glass feels cheap. For $30 I don't think you can go wrong. Red dots are way easier than iron sights or peep sights but it may be frustrating if you're using it on a gun with a lot of recoil. The riser is a nice bonus, haven't tried it yet but I intend to. Pretty amazing for what it is. Comes with a separated bulk-pack 2032 cell - it's nice that it uses this VERY available battery and not some goofyball battery. Pretty sure it's the exact same thing as the one with the other name on it that's $10-15 more. Since the eye hole is only 22mm it's easy to "lose" the sight if you're not yet used to it. I use a Vortex StrikeFire on my other unit (a gun that goes bang, not pew) and although it's more than twice the size and about 7 times the price, I can appreciate the difference. We'll see how well the glass holds up and whether it'll hold 0 while being transported, used, and whatnot. The included cloth sheds lint, making it just about useless. The front lens had a nice big finger print on it already from the factory. The diver's goggles of a lens cover is just begging to get lost. With all that said, I'd buy another for another unit (gun, weapon, toy, whatever) but if it craps out, I would not replace it with another of the same, if that makes sense. The turret markings are tiny. There are clicks but the adjustments feel like they're out of round when you're adjusting them. The turret caps don't have a flathead molded into them to use as an adjustment tool. It comes in a neat box. The manual is disposable. The dot is clear enough and small enough to be useful. The riser sucks. I find it too tall and it looks funny.Get one, why not?
