At birth, infants’ skin has a protective coating called the vernix that’s rich in squalene, a super-moisturizing ingredient that supports newborn skin and prepares it for the outside world. But after the vernix absorbs, babies’ skin can be vulnerable.
So Pipette’s scientists created extra-pure, plant-derived squalane in their labs—it's a more stable version of squalene that baby skin already recognizes.

I was excited to try these, but the wipes are incredibly thin and difficult to pull from the package. We could never pull the wipes out one by one, but rather they’d clump together and we kept pulling out thick wads of wipes we’d then have to detangle. My wipes dispenser probably exacerbated this, so perhaps not using a dispenser would make them easier to use?
