Ugh, these tires are sub-par. Not the amount of tread you expect on a new set of wheels. Just save up a little more and get something that you will actually love and appreciate riding on.

It simply feels like a better bike. Maybe it's just the wider track (150mm) that boosts my ego, but I'm sure it's the superior rubber compared to the stock '09 Ninja 250 tires (130mm) that makes me feel much more confident in turns. I'm a light 135lbs, and I observed absolutely no problems fitting this tire (i.e. rubbing or pinching). This was the most awesome important upgrade over the stock '08+ Ninja 250s. I recommend a front tire change as well.
