The trident middle pin makes popping up soft divots a breeze. And makes for easier fixing of the deeper ones. Pencil sharpener is a great addition too.

I can pierce the ball mark with the tool and “lift” it, just by sticking the pins in and pulling them out, rather than “prying” or “pushing” like I would have with the old design. It’s my new favorite!

Liked the quality of the tool. Only dislike is having to pull it out of my pocket to put the ball marker back on. But that’s just a preference and probably me just being petty.

This tool does a great job of fixing divots. I like the fact that the tool is retractable. I didn't think I would use the pencil sharpener. but in a recent round the pencil in my cart broke and the sharpener was handy,

This is a wonderfully efficient tool for repairing ball marks on greens. It works better than the traditional "tee" or two prong repair tools that I have used in the past. Best of all, the repairs this tool makes leaves the repair mark almost invisible. Plus, it is faster than other methods. The included ball marker is nice. But the pencil sharpener is not all that effective because it is does not do a good job of sharpening pencils that have been sharpened by a machine, as most golf course pencils are.

It lasted about 4 rounds before one of the tines broke off at the base, rendering it pretty much useless. Naturally, it was the tine you need to push on to fold the tines back in. Bad design and way over-priced. There are others on the market that are better for about half the cost. I won't buy another from Pitchfix. In fact, I've already returned this one and ordered a new one. Very disappointed with this. The other kind that has the two, wider/thicker tines is superior to this one. That's what I had before but lost it. I ordered a new one of those from another manufacturer.

I bought three(3) for a couple golfing friends and myself. Mine lasted one(1) round. Retracted the blades and then could not release them. Released the blades with another tool, only to have the same problem occur over and over. It's too bad because I really liked the tool, especially the pencil sharpener feature. Also, too expensive even if it worked. $8.99 would be a good price. Bill T.
