I used the product to vent a kitchen cabinet to control humidity and temperature. The low profile design allowed clearance between the sliding portion of the cabinet and the cabinet frame. The vents below the cabinet door are not overly noticeable in my case as the cabinet trim is a dark brown and the vents are black. You can see them if you look for them but visitors and passersby won't be commenting on them.GordK

I bought these for air circulation for my shed. They are 2-1/2" wide and 3/8" deep. I used a 2-1/8" hole saw which worked but you need to extended the tabs to make them hold. I tried to use a 2" hole saw but it's to small.There metal and seem well made.

Cheaply made!! Description for product is wrong!! It’s too big and does NOT fit a 2” vent. Tried calling Amazon to return but they were no help!! Now I’m stuck with 200 of these!! $300 down the drain!

I used these to patch up some vent holes in the eves of my house (in the fascia boards). Birds had pecked through the screens that were covering the holes previously and insects and other critters were getting in. These fit perfectly and sealed up the holes while still allowing adequate airflow... AND they look nice!Will definitely be buying more to do the rest of the house.

When I added a trolling motor to our pontoon boat, I also installed an onboard battery charger. The onboard charger, and the battery in the circuit breaker were placed into an area out of view. I had to create a panel that hid those items. That panel also needed to provide adequate ventilation so these items did not overheat are use three of these in that panel to create the ventilation needed. I do have a few leftover but I’m sure I’ll find a use for them one of these days.

This says it's a 2-inch vent. I drilled 2-inch holes and it doesn't fit. Looking further, they also sell a 2-5/16 inch drill? Why wouldn't they tell you it's won't work with a 2-inch drill. I also bought the 1-inch vents and drilled 1-inch holes. They fit. Not sure why they would do this, unless they have the market on 2-5/16 inch drills......

Nice appearance, good value, should be very durable for outdoor soffit vents. However, they won't fit a 2.0 inch hole, requires a 2.1 inch or 2 1/8 inch hole saw.
