Plasti Dip protective coating products resist moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, skidding/slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. It remains flexible, stretchy and will not become brittle or crack in extreme weather conditions; -30F to 200F. 11-oz Aerosol Usage: Re-create tool handles for improved grip, color code, protection against electrical shock. Stretchy rubber coating remains flexible when applied to wood, glass, rope, dried floral arrangement, clay, or stone, concrete, ceramic, brick, or anything that paint is applied to. Automotive applications include steering wheels, metal studs, mounting brackets, battery trays, magnetic, rubber boots, plastic fender flares, rocker panels, manifold parts, tire irons, clutch and brake levers, speakers, throttle control panels, wheels, mirrors, Trim, grilles, dash panels. Wood: seals and protects from weathering and prevents splinters. Metal: reduces vibration, prevents corrosion, insulates electrically and from extreme temperatures. Rope/Fabrics: weatherproofs, prevents rotting and fraying Plastics: protects delicate surfaces from scratches. Rubber: weatherproofs, wear resistant. Applied 1 can to each rim of my truck. Came out pretty good. Its been about 2 months now and it's holding up well, even after many washes, and dirt roads.

This stuff is great, once I got the hang of it... I've never spray painted before, so I put quite a few (very) light coats on before I found out that I can coat it more. I had to do this outside and the temperature dropped, so one of my rims looked awful since it dried all weird. I ended up peeling that off the next day and redoing it! Along with adding finishing touches to the others! In the end, I used up all 6 cans for my 5 rims, but hey my jeep looks great! It's held up pretty well for the last few months.I look like I powder coated my rims for about $45... I'm satisfied with this solution!

I sprayed on my Acura and my friend SI. It give brand new look to the car, not to mention is so much easier to wash the car now, no more waxing...... Just re-spray every year.FYI - each can of Plasti dip is equal to 1 panel but if you plan on spraying your car buy the gallon and spray gunWish Amazon can carry more color

Painted my rims on my car with this. It holds up very well. Have gotten many compliments on them even from the local custom car shop when I went it to have my windows tinted.
