This mini tray claims it will work with all mini rollers; however, the Wooster mini roller cage is built a little better and is a slightly wider than the cheaper cages available. I'm still able to use the tray, but not as intended. I have to rotate the roller and offload paint rolling east to west, rather than the traditional north to south. The tray is sturdy and might work for you. If you're using Wooster, probably not. I need my tools to perform as hard as I do. One star for: It holds paint. One star for: It's sturdy.

It's sturdy and easy to clean. I use mine to leave my oil painting brushes soaking in oil while painting.I have a question: are there covers I can buy for this tray? Thanks!

This works well with any 4-inch mini roller. The trough is nice and deep so you can load up with a good amount of paint to get all the edges and corners in a room without stopping to refill. The textured area is a good size to roll off the excess paint. I use press-n-seal plastic wrap to cover the tray, and then throw it out when I'm done. I think there are liners that are specific to this tray, but I don't usually bother with liners.

Sturdy little paint tray with deep paint well. Works as intended. A little hard to clean.

This is not a throw away. It will be in the paint supply box for all those projects. It's the perfect size for the small roller and does what it should do. Not flimsy. Happy with my purchase.
