These allowed me to mount two water bottles behind the seat on a Catrike 700. Why a 2014 Catrike does not have multiple water bosses is unknown to me, but now there are two bottles angled upward. I suggest putting some green or blue Loctite on the screws when you get the mounts in the position you like.

I have 2 mounted on my seat post, one mounted about 30 degrees to the left and one to the right, so that I can mount 2 bottle cages. Tried 2 different brands of double cage mounts, and they both broke on my road bike. Using 2 of these reduced the weight each one has to carry and have had no issues.

Added this to my Catrike 700C, behind the seat on a side down sloping bar but still reachable when riding. Couldn't use the standard forward bottle mount as it interfered with my cell phone mount when using Strava.This unit is solid and mounted easily with the included spacer for narrower tubes. I was able to use the shorter set of screws but nice to have two sets of different sizes included. And the ability to turn the mount 90 degrees made it a perfect fit. I am considering a 2nd unit to add another bottle on the other side for longer rides.

I needed a seat mounted bottle holder because the bottle holder in my step-through was interfering with my stepping through. This worked perfectly. It is well made out of what appears to be machined aluminum. It was easy to install.

My wife's bike has no stock water bottle mount, nor any suitable mounting area on the frame. So I was forced to look for a handlebar mount. The previous mount I bought kind of worked but the handlebar is so slippery that it kept rotating. Apparently the clamping force in the mount was not sufficient. The Platt mount resolves this issue, the water bottle sits in place tightly. However the screws that come with the mount are so long and stick out so far that there's a risk of damage, either to the rider, or to the screw itself. No bike handlebar on Earth would require screws this long. Fortunately, I found a couple of same diameter screws half of the length of the stock ones and replaced them. Problem solved. For reference, these should be 20mm M4 socket head cap bolts, should use a 3mm allen key. One star is taken off because of the screw length issue.

The overall design is sturdy, but the plastic spacer is extremely slippery. I had to put a small wrap of rubber on both sides of the spacer and it still slips some when I put the water bottle in or out. I stripped the bolt head trying to tighten it so it wouldn't slip. I'm hoping as it sits a bit, the rubber I put under it will stick to the spacer and it will stop moving.
