The paper film on this instead of plastic what you might get someplace like Home Depot makes this cut easy and smooth on a tablesaw. Just make sure you have a sharp blade and a fine tooth blade at that.

I am impressed with how safely the Acrylic Sheets were packaged with corner protection, along with an inner and outer box. The protective paper is a necessity when cutting, as I do with a table saw, to keep from scratching the surface. When cutting these, I found it's best to sandwich the plexi between sacrificial thin plywood or other stiff material and use a carbide tooth sharp blade with as many teeth as you can get to obtain a clean cut. Once the cut is made, very fine sandpaper can clean up any edges if needed.
