Planted this in early June. We went from mid-July to Sept. 1 without rain. Came up strong after that for a good 8-10' screening.

The seed has all germinated. About a month in I have 10”-12” of growth. I struggle to believe it will hit 8’-10’ tall, but it’s possible I suppose.

This seed did not grow. I planted some on surface, some compacted with roller and some about an inch deep. NONE of it sprouted. I planted some right before last frost and the rest after. I live in Southeast Illinois and have never had an issue getting anything to grow. All my other food plots are coming on strong but not the egyptian wheat. Perhaps a bad batch?

I did everything the way I was supposed to and my soil samples were 6.3 and this product didn’t grow at all for something that is bragged about

I planted these on my fenceline both for game bird habitat and to screen from neighbors who like to hunt right next to my property line. The product worked very well on both accounts.The egyptian wheat grew about 10-15 feet tall, and very thick. I planted 10 lbs in about 3/4 acre. This was way too much, next year I'll probably only plant 5 lbs. The crop screened very well through September and October. In November it died and dried out - most of the stalks broke off and folded over. Since it had grown 10-15 feet tall, this still meant my whole properly line was screened.Great product, very high germination rate. Loved it!
