I was afraid that the hooks were too small and I hopeAnd I don’t believe that it is alabaster color. It’s white shade alabaster has a yellowish tint.That was disappointing in the colorBut for the price, it was a nice light

As long as you can locate the ceiling joist, it's an easy install. Our living room is now luminous and made the room look much bigger.

This is a beautiful lamp, unfortunately we had to return because it was way smaller than expected (our fault for not paying attention to dimensions listed) but so so pretty!!

My Dining Room is an attached new area in my house and it only had 2 AC plugs, so this solved our lighting issue without needing drill ceiling or walls to energize a hanging lamp.Its easy to install and easy to hang and it works pefect in my 130 sqft dining room.

This hanging lamp is so beautiful. Love the dimmer switch. The cord is decent length but could be longer. It was simple enough to put together and it’s a nice quality lap. Very much worth the price.

The light is quite stylish and fits the decor of upper family room well. Heavy glass shade indicates a degree of quality.The bad part is that the on - off switch is located very near the bottom of the cord. Very inconvenient. Am going to try a smart bulb that is voice-activated through a base station. This is a major issue for us as we have to contort into various positions to reach and activate the light.Great light other than that one flaw.

I was staging my house to sell and put a graduation party together creating an extra formal dinning room. Before we added on it was a small narrow living room. It had a switch that hooked to a wall outlet to turn on the light. We just left it as a sitting room off the kitchen. I decided to turn it into a formal dinning room for extra guest but now I needed I light hanging from the center of the ceiling to light up the whole room. I bought this as a big skeptic thinking it was going to look tacky and I just need to spend the money for an electrician. Glad I bought it and saved my money! It has worked out perfectly above the dinning room table. Not only does it look wonderful, it has enough light to light up a table that seats ten. I thought the chain going across the ceiling would look awful but most people do not even notice and it looks fine. Their eyes are now drawn to the room itself. I should have taken pictures at the time of the party because since then it has become a main area for packing and moving things out to stage our house to sell (things piled everywhere). Now it lends ample light for packing. I would recommend this light. It was super easy to install. Still hanging and hasn’t fallen from the ceiling, which is a good sign I installed it well.
