I started using it on a Pipistrel VIRUS 100, Carbon fiber airplane. It stops bugs from sticking to the Gel coat. Those that splatter on forward surface, literally come off with water for the whole year. The down side of this polish is ; if you do not remove stains bugs etc. before applying, it leaves a coating over those things.

Since its only been on my cars very long I cant speak for longevity, but I can share some of what I learned. First, this is a 2 coat minimum. First coat is for cleanup and to prepare for adhesion. Its a quick coat, rub on, wait a minute (side to side movement only - no karate kid circles) and wipe off. Second coat is what make its work. You must wait for at least 10 to 15 minutes for it to properly adhere. It goes on easily. Here's the trick, DO NOT press hard when removing the excess. Rubbing hard (side to side only) actually dulls the finish because it puts in microfiber swirls. Just wipe it down as gently as possible and let dry overnight. That gives the best shine. With the shine comes its shortcoming. Hard water spots (easily removed with watered down vinegar) show up more because of the shine and so do bird and leaf droppings. I use 'Glare to clean that up). I have it on my Mercedes and Subaru Outback and both bead water well. Do not use on rubber. It stains it.

Neutral Issues: The price is a bit high, but so are all the competing products at this levelLikes: I have used many products "Klasse" (acrylic/lasts 12 mo), and combinations like high end $150 carnauba by Zymöl + Clear Wash, all Meguiars, and have 'layered these' ... and after 25 years of caring for classics and every-day cars, I am continually amazed by the relatively un-advertised "GLARE+ Professional Polish". It is very easy to apply (following a good washing with quality wash-products & procedure), and it provides a truly TOUGH surface to all of the typical hazards (bird-droppings, salt-water-atmosphere, pollutants, dirt) ... and it really truly does last the longest of any product, or combination, that I have used. The next best combination for longevity was Klasse (clear acrylic) sealant with a top layer of Zymol 'Titanium' or better. GLARE FAR EXCEEDES THEM ALL. The shipper was SUPER FAST, and the product arrived in perfect shape, exactly fresh and accurate. Excellent Dealer & Product.

Just sealed my new 2015 Ford F-150 (Dark Metallic Grey) and spent six hours fully detailing this truck. Make sure you're fully committed and try to find an indoor option when applying this product (without wind/direct sunlight). Using multiple micro fiber towels and more coarse microfiber towels for the second coat made this process easier. I applied Glare with a soft sponge and it worked great.Make sure you don't use this product on black exterior plastic trim as it will leave white haze like wax does. This worked well on windows and chrome! I'm impressed with this product. Follow the directions and split the vehicle up into quarters for efficient application. I'll be ordering this product again, especially if it really lasts for five years (one application)! My paint was much deeper and richer in color after using Glare. Neat stuff.

Best product on the market!! Glare makes a terrific shine that protects and lasts five years. My 2010 Honda Crosstour was mistaken as brand new by a fellow patron at a local carwash recently. He couldn't believe that it was four years old. I promptly told him where to buy Glare. I will use Glare on all of my vehicles from now on! John Orr

To get the best performance of any Glare products they should be used with other Glare products. they were all designed to ` with other Glare products. It takes a commitment to all glare products to get the best performance. I have done so ans am ecstatic with the results of ALL Glare products. Be aware that these are quality professional products and as such are priced accordingly. a must for using any of the glare body polishes, prep products etc a Good Random orbital polisher, along with a hook and loop pad holder and an array of pads each optimized for the job it is supposed to do. I use a porter and cable polisher 5.5 or 6 inch unit, and a griots garage 3 inch random orbital along with an array of polishing/finishing pads. The changeover from other prosucts ti Glare is not inexpensive however in my opinion it is well worth the initial cost for equipment, and products is clearly justified by the performance of the products. Once you see the finish on your vehicle (it is also as hard as a rock and extremely durable and long lasting) you will be convinced that your choice to commit was the right one. I do not have a garage to keep my car in, and it is so much easier toi maintain a show like shine on the car with a minimum amount of maintenance. My car *(customized 2010 Camaro 2SS) looks like it just rolled out of the showroom and it is 4 1/2 years old kept outside in all of the elements. If you are interested in how I changed over to these products please email me at gill66482@comcast.net I have a list of everything needed to successfully changeover toi the Glare line of products and a sequential set of instructions on how i did the Camaro....
