I was watching Gilmore Girls one day and there’s an episode where Rory finds her old “hug-a-world”. Made me want one. Such a great concept. I could sit and look at these things for hours. Some of the seams don’t align right, but I wasn’t looking for perfection. Will be great to have as my son gets older. Who knew Mars had all these named mountains and stuff?! Blew my mind to see people have mapped Mars like that. Pretty cool.

I have absolutely no idea why, but I thought that Mars and / or the moon were meant to fit down inside the Earth’s pocket. You MIGHT be able to shove the moon in there, but even that is a tight fit. I was weirdly excited over the idea, and sad to discover it isn’t so. I’m not sure what the pocket is actually supposed to be for… I have a secret theory that it was their way of solving the eternal complaint of the Yukon seam….But regardless…. In case you are like me and get a weird thrill out of the idea of being able to store the other planets inside earth… the dream is not reality.Still, I desperately wanted to store Mars inside Earth… so I removed all the stuffing ( and yes it still ‘looks like animal / human hair’ , though it is perfectly acceptable regular old stuffing that just hasn’t been colored / bleached white. )Then I re-stuffed it with grocery bags and Mars, widened the pocket opening, added velcro to the new portion, and found it satisfactory. It’s not the prettiest job, but I’m happy with it and thrilled to be able to stuff Mars inside now.Besides my unreasonable dream for Mars to fit inside Earth, these are absolutely wonderful and I found no quality issues on my set, personally. So just purchase with this warning, if you’re as unhinged as I am. 😅

The Hugg-A-Planet ISS Bundle was a big hit at Pi Day! Kids loved playing with the balls and talking about Earth, Moon, Mars, their circumferences, and pi.

I got them for their affordability when looking for globes beyond just earth - more for the info on them. But, turns out, they're huggable, squishable and that's the fun part.

Quality thick material. Enjoy looking up places. Looks great in son's space bedroom (and secretly educational).

My 5 year old LOVES these and treats them like stuffed animals- sleeps with them at night. They are soft and comfortable, fun to look and and visually explore.

Our solar system themed play room is complete with this awesome bundle that includes the Earth, Moon, and Mars! All are so educational and very clear and our almost five year old LOVES them! He even sleep on them since they are very soft. I would highly recommend for both educational and decoration purposes! It adds a nice touch to any environment.
