Would work for small items the size of golf balls but nothing larger.

Item description says black acrylic, but it is clear. It didn't matter much either way for my purposes so I kept it. It is functional and pretty nice looking if you are want a clear base.

Used it as a stand for my Amazon Echo so its raised up off the kitchen counter. Looks fine.

The product over all is nice . But way to light to hold any kinda of ball bigger then a baseball uts smaller then I have pictured for sure. But over all a great little ball holder

I like the way the Plymor Clear Acrylic Round Display Base allow my marble egg to stand upright, and it allows the egg to look its best.
