HOW TO INSTALL THE TPMS SENSOR

step1

Loosening the tire:

Lift your car, remove tire and the valve stem core to allow all the air to escape, then strip away the tire.

step 2

Dismount the sensor

  • Dismount the tire: Clamp the tire onto the tire changer, and adjust the valve at 1 o’clock relative to the tire separation head. Insert the tire tool and lift the tire bead onto the mounting head to discount the head.
  • Dismount the sensor: With a screwdriver remove the fastening screw and sensor from the Valve stem, then loosen the nut and remove the valve.

step 3

Mount sensor and valve

  • Mount sensor and valve: Slide the valve stem through the valve hole of the rim.
  • Tighten the screw-nut with 4.0 Nm with the help of the positioning pin.
  • Assemble the sensor body against the rim and tighten the screw.

step 4

Mount the tire

  • Mount the tire: Place the tire on the rim, making sure that the valve faces the separation head at an angle of 180 degrees. Mount the tire over the rim.
  • Inflate the tire, check the balance before installing the wheel.

REMOVAL OF THE TPMS SENSOR:

1. Remove the screw that attaches the sensor to the valve stem and remove the sensor.

2. Using a standard tire valve stem tool, pull the valve stem through the hole and discard it. Use a rubber mallet or a block of wood to avoid damage to the rim.

Installation of TPMS Sensor:

1. Insert the new sensor through the valve stem hole making sure the flat side of the sensor is toward the rim.

2. Using a standard valve stem tool pull the stem straight through the hole until the valve stem is fully seated. To avoid damage to the sensor and the rim, use a rubber mallet or block of wood placed between the rim and the tool to make sure the valve is pulled straight.

HOW TO RELEARN THE TPMS SENSOR:

Need a tire pressure activation TPMS tool [ATEQ(VT41.VT46.VT56),AUTEL(TS408.TS508) etc.]

OBDII RELEARN

OBDII connector is required

1.Confirm TPMS sensors are properly installed

2.Adjust tire pressures to placard value

3.Activate TPMS Tool on left front tire sidewall next to the valve stem

4.Repear for RF/RR/LR tires

5.Apply OBD connector to DLC

6.Turn ignition to ON

7.Press OK on TPMS Tool to transfer data to ECU

These would not train on my 2015 f150 by letting the air out. There are 2 different ways to train new tpms devices. I had to by the tool that goes with the tpms devices for an additional $13. Using the doirections on the page that the tool is on I was able to program the tpms devices in under 2 minutes. I think the seller should bundle the 2 items and heavily suggest paying the extra money. It actually could have saved me the trouble of repeatedly trying and failing to retrain by letting air out. Otherwise this is a good buy compared to $90 a stem for motorcraft.

had several people try and program sensor along with me with no avail. i recomend if you have a problem with your tpm sensors go to a professional. might cost a bit but you wont be out the money you waisted on sensors and then have to buy more for the professional to do the job.
