According to the website, the material is copper. The one that they sent to me is plastic.

This cap looks good. No ugly rusty screws showing. Fit was good too. I don’t even have mine screwed on.

I glued it on the top of a steel post. Not what it was made for, but works fine. One of those things you must have, but once installed, never think of anymore. Seems to be heavy duty plastic.

At little over priced, in my opinion, but was having trouble finding what I was looking for anywhere else. Good quality product, easy to install, arrived on time. We will see how it holds up over the winter.

The local stores did not have post end caps that fit my posts unless I wanted to spend a fortune. These work perfectly and are reasonably priced. I only needed two right now, but I will be ordering more in the future.

Looked all over for a cover for our 4x4 inch post. Most we found were not true to size. Make sure you measure the actual size of the cap you will need, otherwise you might order a 4x4 and get a 3.5x3.5

These did the trick! They look nice, were really affordable and took me about 15 minutes to clip them together and secure them in place. I knocked off a star because the bottom half comes in a nice matte black finish, but the pyramid on top came in a high gloss black. They looked really weird so I just bought a can of matte black car spray paint and hit all the pyramids with that before clipping the pieces together. I specifically used "rustoleum matte finish custom shop black" for anyone that wants the exact match for the bottom half of the caps. All in All, these caps were half the price of the ones at home depot and the fact that I could just glue them in place made them idiot-proof to install. It turned out to be a nice little upgrade to our first home that I didn't need my husband or power tools for.
