Nice color and good volume but there is not a good way to secure it to the bike. There are hooks for hanging on the bike rack but nothing at the bottom to secure it to the bike frame. We’ve used various paneers over the years and they all had a clip or Velcro strap at the bottom to keep the bag from bouncing off the bike.I would not recommend it.

I’ve been reading reviews and comparing shopping panniers for some time. I was getting ready to buy a set of Banjo Brothers panniers when I read glowing reviews for these on Bikeforums, including several that said these were much better- so I bought a set.While these are very similar in design to the BB panniers, they’re better in every way. Heavier fabric, fully lined, reflective strips, stronger attachment brackets. They had no problem staying on during an 8 mile shopping trip riding on a mix of pavement.One tip: Buy yours direct from Po Campo. If Shipping in free, and you get a very significant discount on the second piece.

This grocery pannier looks great and has no problem toting heavy groceries 2-3 days a week. Stays on my rack no problem -- just make sure both hooks are engaged. I load my groceries right into it at the store, saving shopping bags. Overall, I love it! The only drawback is it doesn't have a closure at the top. I end up just tying the handles together in a knot, but it's an odd oversight for such a well-designed bag.

I wanted a bag that did not look like an "ugly biker bag" to go on quick grocery trips. The design is nice if your rack can accommodate the huge loose clips but did not work with my Portland Design WorksEveryday Rear Rack. I thought it would be fine with the bungee to add extra security, but the bag flew off immediately after hitting the smallest bump.Any added weight in the bag causes it to go convex and sag in the center, there is no closure of the top so if you do hit a bump you risk having the bag fly off or stuff come out the top of the bag. Whoever designed this bag is onto something but it just isn't functional as it is now.

I switch between using one or both of these sturdy, easily attached, bags. On longer trips, others rely on me to help with extra jackets. But it works well for heavier items like groceries. PoCampo makes a quality product

When I received it, it seemed much smaller than the description specified, but what I was looking at was the folded down form. With everything expanded, matches the dimensions of the Banjo Brothers Market Pannier. The only drawback would be that it does not have a flap that covers the opening, where the Banjo Brothers pannier does. This is only problematic if you are caught in the rain, and don't have a cover, like the florescent ones you usually get with bike backpacks (I have a few from 2WheelGear bags). It has plastic hooks for securing to the bike and in place of a closing flap, so not worried about securing the load of groceries. Great quality, took one star off for a lack of the flap, but completely satisfied with the purchase.

Overall I really love this bag. When I first received it I was a bit skeptical as there is no secure way to fasten it to your bike rack, it is just a simple hook. I was expecting it to come flying off when ever I rode over a bump but it didn't, it stayed perfectly in place. This bag can fit a lot of stuff and is perfect for picking up groceries. What I really like about this bag is that it is very light, stylish and very comfortable to put over your shoulder once off your bike. The only thing it is really missing, as other has commented, is a way to properly close the bag so that it is water tight

The clips don’t do well if you hit any bounces but I love the shop/tote style. It does well on smooth pavement!

I expected a good bag for the price. What I received is a bag with so many positive features that it bears real scrutiny. It is of course a pannier - the hooks on it are very strong. The lower hook common to panniers is drawn automatically into a pocked when not used. Four velcro straps hold the bag flat when folded, anchored out of the way when unfolded. An upper strap with a hook closes the bag; - of course it has an elastic section with fool-proof strain relief! Very thoughtfully designed. And, yes, it stands up on its own when opened. Not just satisfied - but delighted.

We just moved to a great location with a nearby grocery store. Everyone in the family (12,14, and 2 parents) is able to pop over to the store to get groceries. The two Orchards are basically in constant rotation. I generally take the bags inside with me and hook them on the sides of my cart. That way, I don't over-buy. The volume of this bag is fantastic and yet it folds flat on the bike when empty. We packed it flat to go out to eat because I know that take-out boxes are inevitable with my family. I was right.... my next-day lunch was secured with the help of this simple pannier.I love the hook on the top. For less than full loads, I pull the hook through the loop and secure the bag to my rack. It gives me a nice sense of security. When I ever have heel strike - I push the bag back on my rack a bit - it solves the problem for me. I noticed that the stiff board at the bottom can come out - I like that I can pull it out for cleaning and if I ever need a thicker board down there, I can just add it. nice detail!
