great pointing tool for framing and pointing glass and more. This manual gun is much easier to use than most staple or nailguns like this, the squeeze strength needed is lower but it still fires the points at the right depth. recommended!

This is a very high quality point driver that is easy to use once you get some practice with it. You get 2000 points and these should last a long time. You can adjust the power easily, which allows one to use this driver on soft and hard wood frames. I have to admit that it took me a fair amount of practice to get this driver to work properly, but it works well and is very versatile. The metal construction is excellent.

There's a lot of good things about this nailer. First off, it's not a stapler (which should probably be made clearer), which I originally thought it might be, but it creates the metal tabs for picture frames. I notice that it does shoot the "nails" down with a decent amount of force. During a test it went through some cardboard and into my wood floor. I also like how you can adjust the depth using the knob. One thing that was confusing for me is how to orient it to shoot it, but it's not bad once you figure out the nail doesn't come out of the size where it normally would for a stapler. It's also worth noting that it's pretty easy to load up the nails, although one stack was a bit too much for the loader, so took off a little bit to load it up, but it shows a thumbprint where you use you thumb to open it up so it's fairly intuitive in terms of loading.

The Pomunty Point Driver for Picture Framing is a must-have tool if you regularly deal with mounting and framing pictures. It is very high quality construction made with heavy duty steel, and is very easy to use. I like that it comes with plenty of tacks, enough to do hundreds of frames. Loading the point driver is very simple, just unlatch the spring assembly, load a strip of tacks and reinstall the spring. In use, a small thumb screw in the back of the tool allows setting the pressure applied when framing, providing the ability to somewhat set the depth of the tack.There really aren't any negatives that I can think of, except there are no instructions included with the point driver tool. If you are a RTFM person, then you can find good documentation on the product page, however, and this tool is dead simple to use anyway.I can recommend this Pomunty Point Driver without hesitation. It is fairly priced, high quality and just gets the job done.

Excellent point driver. Feels well made, metal parts. Not plastic junk. Easy to load, easy to adjust and easy to use. Definitely recommended. This is the last tool I need to round out my picture framing tool kit. Happy to have it.
